Aaron Russo was an American Patriot and producer of several top rated Hollywood films. With titles like Trading Places, Wise Guys and The Rose, Aaron had plenty to be proud of in his life. What is unique about Mr. Russo is that he didn’t rest on his press clippings, but continued to learn and grow. He saw first hand the reductions in freedoms as America drifted from a land of freedom to a land of fascism. Aaron didn’t sit around waiting for someone else to do something, but got involved and made a difference. The last movie that he made was called America: Freedom to Fascism and should be watched by every concerned citizen in America and the world.

The Bible states, “The Truth will set you free.” All Americans should seek the truth. Why are we losing more of our inalienable rights every year? Why are our taxes so high that it cripples Americans ability to get ahead or competed as entrepreneurs and business people? Why are there so many big businesses that get special deals with the government creating monopolies instead of free enterprise competition? Isn’t our government still for the people and by the people or did it change without notification? Why is there a Federal Reserve and if truly needed, why not have it audited yearly to ensure it works for our government; not our government for it?

The middle class is getting squeezed of its freedoms, resources, and its very existence. I don’t care if you are a Democrat or a Republican; if you are paying taxes, you are under duress. Taxes go up, government debt goes up, value of the dollar goes down, and our opportunities go down. I have read many books on the Founders of America and I can assure you this is not what they had in mind. Watch Aaron’s last movie and ponder what he has to say. But don’t stop there, read the source material for yourself. Stop taking your information from mainstream media in sound-bites! YOU are better than that and can think for yourself. Please share your thoughts after watching. I know it is an almost 2 hour movie, but isn’t it strange that we will watch a sports match, an entertaining movie, our children’s events and think nothing of the two hours? But educating yourself on your American freedoms for two hours is too much to ask? We have sacrificed thinking for the proverbial sound-bite summation. It is time to WAKE UP!

I did an earlier post on the Reid's going Ruby, but now they have accomplished the Emerald level! Jack & Effie Reid have set the goal, done the work and now are reaping the benefits! The average emerald in MonaVie makes over $159,000 per year. We are very proud of this couple for dreaming a big dream and backing it up with commitment. The Reid’s secret to their fast success is an incredible attitude and enthusiasm for life. The living legends formerly with Amway/Quixtar had fallen on hard times in their former business. Instead of blaming others or making excuses, they left Amway and started focusing on their future with MonaVie Team. Keep an eye on this couple because they combine great experience with a great perspective!

Another leader on fire is my wife Laurie. I have never seen her more excited! Laurie is contacting people and building customer volume and signing up distributors. We did a house plan on Tuesday night in Port St. Lucie and with just a couple of new distributors had nineteen people in the room. There were ten new people there - six people signed up that night and took first night materials and the other four committed to hold their spot and wanted to listen to the materials. The follow through process is going well and it looks like 100% of the new people are getting started. People love the MonaVie product, love the financial plan, and love the Team community. Win-Win-Win! The leaders in the room have committed to starting a bi-monthly open meeting in the Stuart, Florida area.

To sum up, it looks like anyone who is out there sharing the MonaVie Team plan consistently is producing results. The Canadian Team is exploding as we speak. I mentioned in an earlier post the explosive growth of Claude and Lana Hamilton. Today I would like to congratulate Mark and Tami Crawford for reaching the prestigious Black Diamond level in MonaVie. These two are veterans of the MLM industry and have hit all time record highs in income and influence over the last few months. The average Black Diamond income is over 1.5 million per year. One of the most enjoyable things to do when showing the MonaVie plan is to share the MonaVie Income Disclosure Statement (IDS). For the first time in my networking career, I have a reward for building internationally. Well dear reader, you are no doubt already aware of the goings-on at Quixtar. Board members resigning, lawsuits, temporary restraining orders and so on. Rather than linking you to what is already becoming repetitive, we thought that you - discerning readers that you are - would be most interested in the truth about it all.

It has come to our attention that former IBOAI Board Member, Chuck Goetschel has posted on the freetheibo blog. May we suggest you read this most informative post and draw your own conclusions? It is worth the read.

We are not attorneys and we've heard a lot of stuff in the papers and on the blogosphere; but everyone knows that the Quixtar products are overpriced, making them impossible to retail. We've read the lawsuit, and it's clear that the leaders with integrity, Orrin Woodward of Team included, have tried in vain for years, to fix the pricing issue by working internally with Quixtar but to no avail.

It's about to come to a head, and Quixtar certainly looks very foolish at this point. It appears they knew they were operating an illegal pyramid (Amway England), but were prepared to keep doing so, until a few brave men stood up to them.

It appears that Quixtar believed that if they cut off the leaders at the knees, the rest would go quietly into the night. They couldn't have expected what has caught them clearly by surprise...that there are men and women in this world who are guided, not by the love of money, but rather, by truth...and they are not about to go quietly. Here are some great thoughts on Orrin Woodward.

Back on April 25^th we reviewed an article written by leadership expert, John Maxwell (Permanent Link). The article laid out certain questions to consider in identifying potential leadership. Below is part two of that article which lays out the remaining 7 considerations. And, again, Orrin Woodward and the core leadership of the Team have a check mark next to each quality.

I know of no one who can cast a vision like Orrin Woodward. Orrin is an expert in the field of Visioneering. He is masterful in creating vision with such high value for each individual that buying into that vision elicits commitment and passion to see its fulfillment. His willingness to take responsibility for every area needing improvement is limitless and he possesses the most admirable quality of giving the credit and recognition to others where Team strengths prevail. This is a man who finishes what he starts and leads people with the same level of commitment and determination. Of all the CEOs, business executives, heads of state, and any other high levels of leadership positions in the world today, Orrin’s level of EQ would have to rank in the top 1%. I’ve personally seen Orrin Woodward confront, handle, and resolve conflicts that would break not only most men, but would tear apart most companies and organizations. His people skills serve him and his Team well. Following Orrin Woodward is made easy because his nature is so ‘others’ focused. He truly wants to help people become better in all areas of their life that they may feel worthy in themselves and feel the reward of living a life of significance. The results and success of Orrin Woodward and the Team speaks for itself. This is a man who can get things done… and does… well.

Perhaps the greatest of all Orrin Woodward’s qualities is his commitment to develop and duplicate in others these qualities of leadership that they may, in turn, influence change in such a way as to affect and nurture change at a cultural level. One of the benefits of real freedom is the time one can devote to read and research areas which interest and intrigue. Because of Orrin Woodward's example, I became an avid reader of American History. Although I make no claim that the following is an absolutely thorough treatment, it does make for some interesting reading - and hopefully will motivate the reader to do his or her own research. Thanks Orrin, for following your dream and giving others the chance to have a great life! 2007 is going to be a great year for the Team!

Look at a one dollar bill. The present design of a one dollar bill first came off the presses in 1957. This so-called paper money is in fact a cotton and linen blend, with red and blue minute silk fibers running through it. It is actually material. We've all washed it without it falling apart. A special blend of ink is used, the contents we will never know. It is overprinted with symbols and then it is starched to make it water resistant and pressed to give it that nice crisp look.

If you look on the front of the bill, you will see the United States Treasury Seal. Although some claims have been made that the scales represent the need for a balanced budget, the Treasury Department has little to do with whether the budget is balanced, since that is actually handled by congress. The U.S. Treasury Department indicates that the balancing scales actually represent Justice. In the center, some people believe there is a carpenter's T-square, a tool used for an even cut. But that image is actually a chevron with 13 stars representing the 13 original colonies. Underneath is a key that is intended to represent a symbol of authority.

If you turn the bill over, you will see two circles. The two circles reflect the two sides of the Great Seal of the United States. Before the adjournment of the Continental Congress on July 4th, 1776, a committee was appointed to develop a seal for the United States. The committee was Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson, three of the five men who had drafted the Declaration of Independence. They were merely the first committee, however. It took six years, the work of two additional committees and a total of 14 men before a final version of the Great Seal was approved. The final proposal, as accepted by Congress, was submitted on June 13, 1782, by Charles Thompson, Secretary of Congress. He brought together some of the recommendations of the three committees, their consultants, and artists.

If you look at the left hand circle, you will see a Pyramid. This pyramid was not a part of the proposals for the Great Seal until the third committee, and it was not suggested by Jefferson, Franklin, and Adams. Notice the face is lighted and the western side is dark. Although there is no "official" explanation for the shading, some interpret it as a reflection that our country was just beginning and had not begun to explore the West or decided what we could do for Western Civilization. (Yes, this was on some of the Founders' minds)

The Pyramid is un-capped, which may signify that our country was not yet finished. The unfinished state of the pyramid was intentional, and Charles Thompson, in his remarks to congress about the symbolism on the Great Seal, said the pyramid represented "Strength and Duration." Inside the capstone you have the all-seeing eye, and ancient symbol for divinity. Although Franklin's committee did not suggest a pyramid, it did originate the suggestion of the eye. However, the term "the all-seeing eye" was never officially used when describing it. The Franklin committee wanted the seal to include a reflection of divine providence and discussed a variety of themes including the Children of Israel in the Wilderness.

"IN GOD WE TRUST" is prominant on this currency. According to the U.S. Treasury Department, that motto started being used on paper money in 1957. It was in use on coins long before that. The Latin above the pyramid, ANNUIT COEPTIS, means, "God has favored our undertaking." It was Franklin's belief that one man couldn't do it alone, but a group of men with the help of God could do anything. The Latin below the pyramid, NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, means, "a new order has begun." At the base of the pyramid is the Roman Numeral for 1776.

Look at the right-hand circle, and check it carefully. It is found at every National Cemetery in the United States. It is also on the Parade of Flags Walkway at the Bushnell, Florida National Cemetery, and is the centerpiece of most hero's monuments. On the Great Seal, the eagle faces the talon holding the olive branch. The eagle on The Presidential Seal faced in the opposite direction-toward the talon holding the arrows until 1945, when Harry Truman had it redesigned to face the olive branch as well.

No one knows for certain what the symbols mean. But although there is no explanation of the imagery of the eagle in the official records, most historical references to the bald eagle indicate that it represents something of uniquely American origin. One of the original design proposals for the Great Seal featured a small crested white eagle, which is not uniquely American, but this was later changed to the uniquely American Bald Eagle. An unsupported interpretation of the inclusion of the Bald Eagle is that it could also represent victory and independence, because the eagle is not afraid of a storm, is strong and smart enough to soar above it, and wears no material crown.

Also, notice the shield is unsupported. Charles Thompson said it denoted that the United States of America ought to rely on their own virtue. The shield consists of red and white stripes with a blue bar above that represents Congress. The colors are taken from the American flag and officially the red represents hardiness and valor, the white represents purity and innocence, and the blue, vigilance, perseverance, and justice. In the Eagle's beak you will read, "E PLURIBUS UNUM", meaning "Out of many, One" from which many infer "one nation from many people."

Above the Eagle, we find thirteen stars, representing the thirteen original colonies, and any clouds of misunderstanding rolling away. Again, we were coming together as one. Notice that the Eagle holds an olive branch and arrows in his talons. The official meaning is that the olive branch and the arrows "denote the power of peace and war." As noted previously, the design shows the eagle facing the olive branch. This was the opposite of the the Presidential Seal, which showed the eagle facing the arrows, until President Harry Truman had it redesigned to face the olive branch in 1945.

Some feel that the number 13 is an unlucky number. It is unusual to find a room numbered 13, or hotels or motels with a 13th floor. But the significance of the number 13 in U.S. history is very strong. The number 13 as used on many U.S. symbols (the stripes on the flag, steps on the pyramid, 13 stars above the eagle, 13 plumes of feathers on each of the Eagle's wings, 13 bars on the shield, 13 leaves on the olive branch, 13 fruits, and 13 arrows) all represent the beginning of our country, as established by the thirteen colonies. But it should also remind us of the importance of the "13th Amendment". And you can, and should, be reminded of the history of this country each time you look at a one dollar bill.

Why not share this information with your family and loved ones? Give them an appreciation for the history of this country found on our most common form of currency. Although symbols are open to many interpretations, we believe the above information offers some historical insight (and some undocumented perceptions) about the design and meaning of some of the images on the one dollar bill. On the day we know as Thanksgiving, I always take the time to consider the many blessings I've received. One of the greatest has been, and continues to be, my association with Orrin Woodward and the Team. Words fall woefully short of the mark in the attempt to describe what Orrin has done for me and my family. So a simple Thank You will have to suffice. Thank you for your vision, your belief, your work ethic and your committment to excellence. Thank you for your example and for your faith. In 1789, our first President published his Thanksgiving Proclamation. Appropos of the day, it appears below. I pray that all who read it, read it carefully and remember the source of all our blessings.

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and

Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me "to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness":

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26^th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the Beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquillity, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted; for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our national government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally, to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

Saw a couple of quotes the other day which rminded me of Orrin Woodward, co founder of the Team and author of Leading the Consumer Rebellion.

This year’s Winter Conference exceeded my expectations, as usual. Fred Harteis always succeeds in making each one better than the one before. Perhaps it is, as someone said, that each year I am more open to hearing what is being taught. Chris and Terry Brady of the Team with Orrin Woodward were awesome. It is always great to see someone in person who we have been listening to on CD. It just makes them more real and easier to listen to. I also enjoyed the panels which were made up of leaders from the Harteis Team. I love learning from them the best because they are close friends that we have made over the years.
