Here's another one from Orrin that he has said numerous times: "Success is assured when you stop negotiating the cost." I like this one. If more people would take this advice and apply it to their endeavors, they would surely see a difference. After all, Orrin Woodward knows what he is talking about. Apply this attitude and thrive! Billy Florence: What is “IT”? It’s time. Time is the same for all of us. Whether we are just staring out in life or are seeing a few grey hairs in the mirror the length of the hours allotted to us each day is still 24. "One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon—instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today." - Dale Carnegie "It is only possible to live happily ever after on a day-to-day basis." - Margaret Bonnano "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present." - Babatunde Olatunji About Billy Florence Billy Florence is president of IBOAI Billy Florence leads Team DCI and owns equad news www.equadnews.com © 2005 provided to http://orrin-woodward-team.blogharbor.com by Esource Business News

“How To Develope Repeat Customers for Small Business “ by Fred Harteis – At Harteis International, we are very proud to serve. We have customers that we have had for 30 plus years. We believe it is essential to build relationships with our customers, and focus on their best interest. If people realize you have their needs at heart and have a passion to help them you are on the right track. Service with a smile and a heart go a long way in creating repeat business. Loyal customers will provide most of your revenue. Twenty percent of your customers will represent 80 percent of your sales each year. Small Business Customer Loyalty Tips: Team Up To Add Customer Value 1. Open dialogue with customers helps you help them. Your ears are the way to their heart. Teach your staff to “team up” to add value to your customers experience. 2. Develop a dedication to new and innovative ideas to fill the customer needs today and tomorrow. 3. Create and add value. Value cannot be understated, people must understand you do provide great value for them or you must create value. 4. Never do we allow an excuse to replace dedicated service or quality. Early in our business development we knew at BizNet Productions that fast service would be essential. 5. Be responsive. If the customer orders today, it will be shipped today or next day with out delay. That is the service that is expected, never let the customer down. Best team or company philosophy is we get to where we want to go by helping the customers get to where what they want – first. We suggest you do the same. The fifth Leadership Principle from the book "Proverbs of Leadership" is Perseverance. Orrin Woodward always teaches to stay the course. He says " I will until." Most people would succeed if they just stay focused long enough and persevere through the ups and downs of life, and just finish what they start!

“The first quality that is needed is audacity.”
Be audacious enough to believe you can achieve whatever you set your heart upon. Then make the right decisions for success. We have an incredible path paved before us by Orrin Woodward and the other Team leaders. If we begin with 3 primary areas to focus and decide to pursue we will achieve success to a level most people will never see in their lifetime.
1. Seek Continual Growth. Happiness can be found in growth. It is out of growth that we live and through growth that we give. We must ask ourselves what it is that we are learning right now… today. As Orrin would ask, what is stretching me out of my comfort zone?
2. Become a Servant Leader. To lead is to be first, out front. To serve is to focus on the needs of others before ourselves. Focus on the needs of others before your own reward. Do not wait until you get something out of a relationship before you give to it. It will not come until you first nourish. Deny yourself the “what’s in it for me” mentality that permeates our culture with a rotting stench. Give first and the reward will follow. "I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve." Jeremiah 17:10
3. Attitude! Attitude! Attitude! Our success is not determined by what life brings us but by how we respond to it. We must remember that our attitude is always a choice and it’s our choice to make… no one makes it for us.
With the Team system that Orrin Woodward has created, developed, expanded and refined, any person can pursue greatness with the odds of achieving it stacked in their favor. As we reflect upon the choices we’ve made thus far… and as we look to make them better in the future with the guidance of those that have gone before… let us never forget that it is the next one that holds the power of the present. Decide! And have the audacity to begin it.

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln describes here the true test of a man’s character and integrity. Matthew Henry says: “It is not fit the public trusts should be lodged in the hands of any till they are first proved and found fit for the business they are to be entrusted with.”
The Team and Orrin Woodward have taught that integrity is 2 things: · Morality- Not doing what is wrong, and · Character- Doing that which is right… no matter what!
Orrin not only talks the talk but more importantly, he walks the walk. Orrin leads by example and has created a business that rewards performance with results which can be achieved only through serving others with the integrity necessary to handle wealth, power, and influence. It is incredible that a business such as the Team and a businessman such as Orrin Woodward emphasize and teach true wealth with a business model that produces it like none other. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Matthew 16:26

"Kites rise highest against the wind - not with it."
Giving Up Too Soon by: Author Unknown, Source Unknown A man meets a guru in the road. The man asks the guru, "Which way is success?"
The berobed, bearded sage speaks not but points to a place off in the distance.
The man, thrilled by the prospect of quick and easy success, rushes off in the appropriate direction. Suddenly, there comes a loud "Splat!!!"
Eventually, the man limps back, tattered and stunned, assuming he must have misinterpreted the message. He repeats his question to the guru, who again points silently in the same direction.
The man obediently walks off once more. This time the splat is deafening, and when the man crawls back, he is bloody, broken, tattered, and irate. "I asked you which way is success," he screams at the guru. "I followed the direction you indicated. And all I got was splatted! No more of this pointing! Talk!"
Only then does the guru speak, and what he says is this: "Success is that way. Just a little after the splat."
We must never forget that anything worth having, is worth working for. Orrin Woodward and the Team have demonstrated over and over that success comes to those who stick. Orrin has said that success is as simple as falling down 99 times as long as you get up 100. Are you willing to fall down 99 times and get up the 100th time to success? Operating under the principles and business model of the Team make getting up easier and the falling down doesn’t hurt as much. Learn from the fall and each time we’re closer to success. Commitment, perseverance, determination… these are not optional ingredients in the formula for success. William Feather said "Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go." So hang on! And achieve the success you’ve dreamed of.
